“A group of self-professed “Christian witches” announced they will be holding their annual convention on Easter in Salem, Massachusetts. The gathering of “Witches, Sorcerers/Soceresses, Wizards, Warlocks, Necromancers, Readers” and “like-minded Magickal Beings” is being organized by Rev. Valerie Love (aka KAISI). Scheduled for April 10-12, it will coincide with the Christian holiday of Easter and feature elements of witchcraft as well as Christian prayers.”- breakingisraelnews.com
What Does God Say About Witchcraft?
First things first, God will judge and destroy anyone involved in sin (2 Kings 17:17, 21:6; 2 Chronicles 33:6). This includes witchcraft, sorcery, necromancy, etc. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Those involved in witchcraft and demonic practices will not enter into heaven (Revelation 22:15).
What Happens When They Turn To Christ?
Paul was in Ephesus spreading the gospel. While he was there some Jewish exorcists were trying to make evil spirits come out of people using “the name of the Lord Jesus.” The result for them was they were beat up by the man. (Acts 19:11-16). What happened next was the people became afraid and began to confess their evil doings. Their evil doings included witchcraft. Then there was an action that followed. It was the action of burning their books of magic. (Acts 19:17-19)
There are no Christian witches. This is just more of last days events lining up.
2 Corinthians 11:13 KJV For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
