Proverbs 1:2 KJV To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
Almost sounds to simple when our problems seem so complicated but God’s law of sowing and reaping is always working (Galatians 6:6-8) and it shows up in life early. When you look to the future what do you see? Do you see more of what you have because you see no way out? Do you see a goal but have no idea how to achieve it? Or do you see nothing? Our future is lead by every choice we make and for our future to have purpose and meaning we need wisdom beyond ourselves, biblical wisdom.
Knowing what God says about what is right and wrong (good and evil) is biblical wisdom. The bible helps us to deal with the problems in our life in a way that causes us less confusion and respects God. There are times it will be hard to choose what God says is right. Such as;
Wisdom in action
God says we are not to lie but we all 
do. We lie to stay out of trouble, out of fear, not to hurt someone, etc. Lying disrespects God and people, it also causes distrust. So, the opposite of lie is truth which means truth builds trust between people and makes it easy to talk to them. However, telling the truth can be very hard sometimes but when you know it is the wisest thing to do because it will help you, it will influence you to make the good choice.
Proverbs 4:7 tells us what our attitude toward wisdom is to be, it is to be more valuable than anything we own. Here are a few advantages to biblical wisdom.
Proverbs 3:13 KJV Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
Proverbs 3:19 KJV The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
Proverbs 2:6 KJV For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
The Lord gives wisdom to those who ask for it without doubt in God (James 1:5). It was God’s wisdom that created the earth we live on and the beauty of the heavens. True happiness is found in God’s wisdom. There will be times we can not see how doing what God says is right will help us or make us happy, but just think, the universe was created by God’s wisdom. That is wisdom we do not have and God is willing to share His with us. We can’t create something from nothing but we can learn what God thinks, choose to obey what God says, and see His goodness influence our future, that is wisdom.
Psalm 51:6 KJV Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
God will put Truth in us and He will teach us wisdom through His word, our part is to be taught what His word says about wisdom.
