Words Of My Mouth
Psalm 19:14 KJV Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
Luke 6:45 KJV A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
We live in a time where holding your tongue is no longer seen as a good thing. Every one has an opinion, expresses their opinion, and expects all to agree. If anyone dares to disagree they are assaulted verbally on social media. Society as a whole is full of hate and intolerance. And yet their words say they seek tolerance.
Persecuted For Our Words
Persecution is coming to every believer everywhere, including America. I encourage you to listen to the words of your heart. Learn that it is important to pay attention to your thoughts. It is up to us to make sure our words and thoughts are acceptable before the Lord? What about our attitude. We can say all the right things for all the wrong reasons.
The time for games is over. We must make sure our hearts sing in delight to the Lord. This means we are to study God’s word for the purpose of applying it to our life. We are to delight in the ways of the Lord. We are to love the law, commands, and precepts of God.
1 John 5:3 KJV For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
The world is embracing abominations at an alarming rate. Darkness, hate, and violence is filling the earth. As a result the believer will shine brighter than ever. Above all, we must be able to speak words of life to the dying even if they hate us for it.
