There is much happening everywhere but as a believer it is what is happening in Israel and Jerusalem that is central. It is the attitudes toward Israel and Jerusalem that let us know the future of every nation. Europe turned from God to humanism, to secularism, and now embraces Islam.
Are Americans getting a clue? No.
Whether the votes were legal or not, those who have views that directly oppose our Constitution and general way of life have slowly filtered into our highest form of government. They are so sure of themselves now, they do not hide their agenda anymore.
I grew up in the sixties so I recognize all the signs of stirring up the younger generation to believe things that will never truly or permanently happen. The message is the same, rebel against God, embrace a different god, and live to please yourself. The difference is, now the message includes hate toward Israel and the Jews. In the future this hate will lead to many nations attacking Israel and Jerusalem.
No nation, including America, will come to Israel’s aid. The young in America are ready to go the way of Europe or more accurately the generation of Israelites who knew not the Lord and it did not go well for them.
Judges 2:10 KJV 10 “And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.”
God has not changed His mind about Israel, Jerusalem, or worshipping false gods. As a believer I know time is short to spread the gospel of Christ. As a believer I keep my eyes looking up for my Savior. It will be a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Lord God (Hebrews 10) to be judged under His wrath. We move closer everyday to the time of eternal judgment.
The good news, God sent His Son to pay for our sins. Faith in Jesus Christ means the guilt of our sins have been removed and we are right before God. God also has warnings for those who continue in their sin and it will be an eternal error to ignore them.
