The Time Draws Near as Many Draw Colder

Psalm 9:7 KJV But the Lord shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. 8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. 9 The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. 10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

God has told us in the last days the world will be filled with misery, violence, and selfishness. We are warned that those who believe in the God of the bible will be persecuted all over the world. There will be hopelessness, witchcraft, drugs, and the church will be filled with false teachings, doctrines, and people. The true believer will be persecuted not only by the unbeliever but also by the religious crowd. This has always existed. So what makes all the killings and misery that is upon this world different today? Israel became a nation in one day and the situations in countries are driving Jews back to their homeland as they remember the holocaust of their people. We as believers are to keep our hearts and eyes set on our eternal destiny, heaven. We must live knowing our sufferings are nothing compared to eternity, which our mind can not comprehend. We must live knowing God rules over all things and forever. His throne is a throne of judgment and He will judge every one according to His righteousness. As the world is growing more evil and more intolerant of believers, let us stand the trial by taking our refuge in Him, by crying out for help, and by putting our trust and confidence in the name of our Lord God and Savior. God’s name means He will never leave us or forsake us. When we know someone’s character we either trust them or we don’t, which will be according to their actions not their words only and the same holds true for God. We learn who God is through His word, His Son, His Spirit, and experiencing the word of God coming to live in our own lives.

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

I pray we know the love of Christ which is beyond our knowledge.
