Genesis 6:5 KJV And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
I was in high school when abortion became legal but the majority of my generation had been taught a baby is a baby from day one. It has now been 46 years and this sin has grown into a monster. A baby is an it or a fetus in order to cut off any emotional ties. This is no longer restricted to the early stages in the womb but now evil wants to kill a full term baby. I have stopped asking myself how anyone could possibly think this is right because I have studied Romans 1 enough to know. So, the question is where do things go from here.
Just like in the days of Noah God sees that the heart of people is on evil continually and society as a whole is fulfilling 2 Timothy 3:1-5. 2 Timothy 3 is an accurate description of society today and as bad as it is today, it is only going to get worse. The love of money, love of self and pleasure, hate of holiness and God will grow until God’s wrath toward the sinfulness of man will come.
The most disturbing part of all this is, where are the believers. Of course there are those who, like us speak up, but for everyone to be a “Christian” we are a pitiful few. Well, 2 Timothy goes on to say, people will lip about God but continue to follow the way of Satan, that is, the world. Most who call themselves Christians today do not meet what God requires for Him to know them.
I write these to show how everyday we are moving closer and closer to the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For those who know what will take place before God puts everything back to His original design, pray and be ready to answer anyone who asks you about the hope that is in you during such dark and insecure days (1 Peter 3:15).
