The first seal is where tribulation begins and the rider is to conquer. The Anti-christ is sent to the earth on a white horse, with a given crown, and a bow with no arrows. The crown is God given power and authority. Riding the white horse will make it appear he will use his power for the good of the people. Instead of using force, he will be charming and charismatic to win over the people and their leaders. They will surrender their sovereignty to him for the sake of peace and safety. But when his true colors come out, the peace does not last long.
Horse On Rider Second seal
Revelation 6:3 KJV And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Breaking open the second seal calls the second rider to “take peace from the earth.” War is a dominating feature of mankind’s history, this time it will be over the globe.
Horse On Rider Third seal
Revelation 6:5 KJV And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
War and unrest disrupts normal daily life. War ravages land, kills workers, and hinders necessary activities such as farming. All of this leads to a famine. Food becomes very expensive. Wheat is for people and barley is for animals. What a choice, either one person eats one meal a day or four people eat food meant for animals one time a day. Do not hurt the “oil and the wine” is all over the place. Some say the rich get richer and some say you need the oil to make bread and wine to drink. Either way many people are going to die from starvation.
Horse On Rider Fourth seal
Revelation 6:7 KJV And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
God gave this rider the power to kill 1/4 of the people on earth. We have not experienced this kind of devastation. People will be dying everywhere from violence, hunger, and the animals.
What Is Happening Now And Did God Warn Of This To Come
We have this going on right now but not to this degree. Matthew 24:21, Jesus says this time will be like a time never seen before. John is seeing all of this and would he have known that God had warned of this before?
Jeremiah 14:12 KJV When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence. 13 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
Ezekiel 6:11 KJV Thus saith the Lord God; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
This is God warning Israel that these judgments are coming their way because of their sin. God has not changed His mind about sin. God has not changed His mind about judging sin. Israel is to be an example to us (1 Corinthians 10:5-10). We see in these Old Testament verses what judgments God uses. We also see the same judgments are coming in the verses in the New Testament. Do not be deceived, God is love, but He is holy and will not tolerate sin.
Do Not Be Frighten Of Things To Come
This is not to scare anyone, it is to warn anyone who has ears to hear and eyes to see this is coming. God’s warnings also come with grace and mercy. God offers a way to come out from under His wrath now and the wrath to come (Ephesians 2:8-9).
John 3:18 KJV He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God….36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
It is faith in the name of the Son of God, Jesus the Christ, that brings you out from under the wrath of God. Jesus took all of God’s wrath upon Himself for our sin. Simply put, you accept you are a sinner and you need a Savoir. The only Savoir God accepts is His Son (John 14:6).
