“God’s Pronouns are they and them”
God being brought down to man’s level. Be very discerning in these last days.
If God is both genders – or contains both genders – shouldn’t people be free to choose their own gender identity? Let me explain what I mean. Focus on the Family claims that its views on gender identity are based on a Scripture verse that says, “God created man in His own image” and then goes on to assert that this “image” includes both “male and female.”
Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t this mean that God is androgynous – male and female at the same time? If this is true, wouldn’t it further suggest that human beings made “in His image” have the prerogative of being either male or female – or perhaps both male and female – according to personal preference?
“This is why it is so important to maintain the distinction between male and female as originally designed and implemented by the Creator.”
This is not complicated, and yet they make it so. God is a yes or no God. Man constantly brings God down to their level. Read this bible teaching by Got Questions, simple and to the point.
Is God male or female?
In examining Scripture, two facts become clear. First, God is a Spirit and does not possess human characteristics or limitations. Second, all the evidence contained in Scripture agrees that God revealed Himself to mankind in a male form. To begin, God’s true nature needs to be understood.
God is a Person, obviously, because God exhibits all the characteristics of personhood: God has a mind, a will, an intellect, and emotions. God communicates and He has relationships, and God’s personal actions are evidenced throughout Scripture.
