As you listen to the mainstream media, they all sound the same. It’s difficult to know whether they are being truthful or lying to you. Especially in America on each news station, every mainstream media newscaster sounds like a robot reciting the same script. Where did they receive their news, and why are they all repeating the same information?
I thought the role of a reporter was to gather information and then research it to ensure its accuracy. That is, they investigate the information given to verify its truthfulness. But if all mainstream media are saying the exact same thing, are they working from one source? The point of this is that now we have to do our own research to find out the truth about what is happening. We can no longer depend on the mainstream media for anything. We will briefly shed some light about what is happening.
Mainstream Media Propaganda or Truth
The mainstream media no longer gives facts. Instead, they spread a narrative with a unified goal behind it. Instead of facts, we hear opinions.
The article “Congressmen Seek To Lift Propaganda Ban,” was written in 2012. How interesting that now more than ever, this is being played out.

Lean On The Word of God For Your Facts
You are given facts, but you should go to the word of God for the truth. This is how we discern between truth and lies. We don’t rely on mainstream media news. We are to take what we hear and line it up with scripture. When we do not know what God says about worldly events, we are easily deceived. Because when the truth is skewed, we will stand for the wrong thing.
As you know, propaganda has been around for a long time. This began when Satan spread propaganda in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). Right now, God allows Satan to rule over the world system (1 John 5:19). And Satan has one agenda to which is to steal, kill, and destroy the truth (John 10:10). He does this by twisting the truth because he is incapable of telling the truth (John 8:44).
We live in a world full of deception, and it will get worse as we near the Tribulation. The disciples ask Jesus about the events concerning the end of this age. The first thing Jesus told them was, “do not be deceived” (Matthew 24:4).
There is only one way to escape deception, which is faith in Jesus the Christ.
Luke 4:18-19 BSB; 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Jesus will open your eyes to truth and set you free from the lies of Satan.
