War Still Rages On For Israel
War and Rumors of War for Israel
Since Israel became a nation in 1948 they have been attacked for the purpose of annihilation. The Jews have been at war and will continue to be at war until Jesus returns. Israel will come to a time when they are unwalled but that also will be an invitation of war.
Ezekiel 38:10 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “It will come about on that day that thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil plan, 11 and you will say, ‘I will go up against an open country; I will come against those who are at rest and peaceful, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having neither bars nor gates, 12 to take spoil and seize plunder, to turn your hand against the ruins which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who live at the center of the world [Israel].
There are many articles that tell us war is imminent and the destruction of Israel is real. Why are we telling you this, because God's Word is Alive and Moving. If God's Word is Truth then we should learn the history of where Israel came from. We will start with some articles showing how Iran wants to annihilate Israel and Israel wants to have a two state solution. If you read scripture then you will know that neither one will take place. They will never live in peace side by side! It will be one or the other.
"While Iran says its missile program is aimed at displaying the country's "deterrent power and its ability to confront any threat", some IRGC commanders have said that Iran's medium-range ballistic missiles were designed to be able to hit Israel.
Iran refuses to recognize Israel."
"While Israel has welcomed the move, it has been met with anger among Palestinian Authority (PA) officials.
"PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas recently promised a “political and diplomatic response” if Trump moves the embassy to Jerusalem. He did not elaborate."
"Previously, Abbas wrote Trump a letter in which he warned him against moving the American embassy, saying that such a move would be crossing a "red line" and could jeopardize peace prospects."
The History of Israel
The war between the Jews and the Palestinians is not new, for this has been going on since God created Ishmael and Isaac. What does Ishmael and Isaac have to do with Jerusalem?
Genesis 12:1 The Lord said to Abram, “Leave your land, your relatives, and your father’s home. Go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation, I will bless you. I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you, I will curse. Through you every family on earth will be blessed.”
Genesis 17:7 I will make my promise to you and your descendants for generations to come as an everlasting promise. I will be your God and the God of your descendants. 8 I am also giving this land where you are living—all of Canaan—to you and your descendants as your permanent possession. And I will be your God.”
Jerusalem and Israel are apart of God's plan, because they belong to Him. God made a land covenant with Abraham and his descendants. His children are Isaac and Ishmael but God calls Himself the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In order to understand the future then one must know the history of how it began in the Word of God:
In Genesis Abram had a son named Ishmael by their servant Hagar. This child was born out of God's will and Ishmael came to be through an idea of Sarai who did not believe she could get pregnant (learn more by reading Genesis 16). Later in Genesis God tells Abram again
Genesis 17:1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am the Almighty God; walk and live habitually before Me and be perfect (blameless, wholehearted, complete). 2 And I will make My covenant (solemn pledge) between Me and you and will multiply you exceedingly. 3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God said to him, 4 As for Me, behold, My covenant (solemn pledge) is with you, and you shall be the father of many nations.
Abram had sinned and he fell on his face to his Lord and God at that moment changed his name from Abram to Abraham. God tells him again you shall bear a son and be a father of many nations. Sarai's name was also changed to Sarah and she to will be the mother of nations. God tells Abraham, "I will bless her and give you a son", "kings of peoples shall come from her".
17:17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said in his heart, Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a son? 18 And [he] said to God, Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!
Abraham wanted Ishmael to live before God, but God tells Abraham again,
17:19 But God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed, and you shall call his name Isaac [laughter]; and I will establish My covenant or solemn pledge with him for an everlasting covenant and with his posterity after him.
20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard and heeded you: behold, I will bless him and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly; He will be the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. [Fulfilled in Gen. 25:12-18.] 21 But My covenant, My promise and pledge, I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this season next year. 22 And God stopped talking with him and went up from Abraham.
Ishmael will be the father of a great nation, but Isaac has the covenant with God.
Genesis 22:2 God said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains that I will show you.”
God called Isaac Abraham's only son. God did not recognize Ishmael as the son of the covenant.
Galatians 4:28 Now you, brothers and sisters, are children of the promise like Isaac. 29 Furthermore, at that time the son who was conceived in a natural way persecuted the son conceived in a spiritual way. That’s exactly what’s happening now. 30 But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, because the son of the slave woman must never share the inheritance with the son of the free woman.”
This tells us three things?
- Ishmael was conceived in a natural way
- Isaac was conceived in a spiritual way
- Ishmael will never share in the inheritance of Isaac
What does this have to do with the violence against Israel and Jerusalem today?
Psalm 83:1 Keep not silence, O God; hold not Your peace or be still, O God.
2 For, behold, Your enemies are in tumult, and those who hate You have raised their heads.
3 They lay crafty schemes against Your people and consult together against Your hidden and precious ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be in remembrance no more.
5 For they have consulted together with one accord and one heart; against You they make a covenant—
6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites,.....
There are many nations who are still making plans to wipe out Israel as a nation and conquer Jerusalem.
As the truth keeps getting buried deeper and deeper under the lies of Satan remember it is not to late to seek The Truth, The Life, and The Way of Jesus Christ. Isaac was a foreshadow of the promised Messiah, Jesus the Christ is the fulfillment of that promise.
War will continue to escalate against Israel and Jerusalem. There is nothing man can do to stop it. Israel and Jerusalem will not have peace until Christ Himself comes and defeats all the nations coming against Israel.
Zechariah 8:3 Thus says the Lord, ‘I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.’
Zechariah 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
