H.R.5 – Equality Act 116th Congress (2019-2020) bill was passed. This carries the name “equality,” but it will not promote equality. Instead of equality, this rejects the true living God. Hate toward God-the Father and God-the Son spills over into and onto everything as it increases around the world. Darkness is seen as light. Light is seen as offensive and attacking.
H.R.5 SEC. 2. Findings and Purposes
Below is part 2 from this bill.
(2) A single instance of discrimination may have more than one basis. For example, discrimination against a married same-sex couple could be based on the sex stereotype that marriage should only be between heterosexual couples, the sexual orientation of the two individuals in the couple, or both. Discrimination against a pregnant lesbian could be based on her sex, her sexual orientation, her pregnancy, or on the basis of multiple factors. by Congress.gov H.R.5 Equality Act Bill
How did we get to the Equality Act?
Begins in Genesis, battle between Good and Evil
The battle between good and evil started long ago in the Garden of Eden. Satan showed up in the garden to deceive them, and yes he still uses the same tactics today. God said one thing and then Satan took what God said and distorted it. There are 2 main lies to watch out for, one is God is a liar and the other is, you can be God. The lie is you can be God and decide what is good or evil (Genesis 3:1-5). Believers must have discernment whether we are being offered a lie or if we are being offered the Truth.
What Does Satan Offer You?
Satan comes offering what will look and sound great. His reality, however, has the following 3 elements:
John 10:10
Satan’s first deception towards man was to tell Eve she can be like God and know good and evil. Eve bought into the lie and shared it
with her husband, Adam. Their disobedience brought death through sin to the human race. Their lack of guilt and shame was stolen when they chose to believe the lies of Satan. God cursed Adam, Eve, the devil, and the earth. So we live in a cursed world full of cursed people. The end result of sin is not only physical death but causes separation from a personal relationship with God (Genesis 3:8, 23-24).
Though there remains much of the beauty and wonder God created, because of the curse the earth is still dying. But there are those who believe they can be God and therefore working hard to create heaven on earth, a.k.a. the Reset, the Green New Deal, the Climate Change, Depopulation and many others.
What does all of this have to do with the Equality Act?
The reality is this law goes against God’s view of family, marriage, the truth and causes confusion of the mind.
Equality means to be equal. But to enforce this law will require forced compliance at some point. Where is the equality? The consequences of disagreeing will come to those who hold a biblical view of marriage, family, and godliness. The most devastating consequences will come from God, Himself, upon the people on the earth.
The passing of this bill, if allowed to have full play will reveal something much bigger than ourselves.
We will watch society become unbelievably evil (Romans 1:28-32). As evil is promoted, remember, leaders may be making their plans but God guides their steps (Proverbs 21:1; Psalm 22:28).
We are already a society of self lovers, money, and pleasure. Selfish people lack self control, believe they are entitled, and hate godly values. What God says to hate will be loved and what should be hated will be loved on a grand scale (Isaiah 51:20, Psalm 97:10; 2 Timothy 3:1-4).
Absolute truth has been replaced by relativity which now includes gender, marriage, family, etc. The only outcome will be confusion in the mind. Confusion brings disorder and chaos which leads to violence, which we are witnessing now. However, all that we are witnessing is not happening arbitrarily. Jesus told the future of the whole world.
Equality Act will repeat History
Luke 17:26-29 NASB1995 And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; 29 but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
This law caused the world to take a giant step backward to the days of Noah and Lot. Which also means we took a step closer to the Tribulation and 2nd coming of Christ. Noah’s days are categorized as filled with evil and violence. During that time evil consumed every persons thoughts (Genesis 6:5, 11). Lot’s days are portrayed with same-sex relationships by young and old (Genesis 19).
There will continue to be laws passed making godly righteousness a crime. While making unrighteousness or lawlessness acceptable. God’s response will be judgment.
How did God respond to the evil and violence of Noah and Lot’s day?
In Noah’s day, God allowed Noah to warn the people, then He flooded the earth. Before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah by fire and brimstone, He told Abraham what He was going to do. Abraham ask if God would spare the people if there were “10 righteous” to be found. God said yes. There wasn’t and God’s judgment came (Genesis 18:16-33).
Who survived God’s wrath?
Noah, his wife, sons, and daughters-in-law survived, 8 people. Lot, his wife, and daughters escaped the total destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. But, Lot’s wife disobeyed God’s command and she turned into a pillar of salt while fleeing.
God warns of the coming judgment
God warned in the past and He warns now about future events.
Nations that once allowed preaching and teaching the truth as God meant it, are taking that freedom away. Ultimately, all nations will outlaw God’s word to be read and/or spoken.
The cup fills and God’s wrath awaits because He can not tolerate the abominations and wickedness that takes the place of godliness in the eyes of people.
Psalm 75:7-8 NASB1995 But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another. 8 For a cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams; It is well mixed, and He pours out of this; Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs.
Revelation 14:6-7 NASB1995 And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; 7 and he said with a loud voice, “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.”
God, through His Spirit, spelled out what will come, including destroying the earth by fire (2 Peter 3:1-18).
God still warns that He demands payment for sin, which we can in no way pay for. The good news remains, the cross of Christ paid that debt we all owe.
Jesus is coming. Are you ready to meet the perfect One Who will judge all the people?
Pray that Jesus comes soon, but in the meantime to have the courage to do His will. Thank you for this teaching.
