Isaiah 3:4 KJV And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
God is warning His people their sinful behavior will meet with His wrathful judgment. The Israelite’s were no better than Sodom and Gomorrah in God’s eyes. Their society worshipped other gods, talked to the dead, relied on stars for knowledge, etc. Actually Isaiah describes us today.
Where Are We In The Scope of God’s Judgment?
Greta Thunberg is 16 years old. She is “Times magazines Person of the Year.” What is her contribution?
She will “make sure” that world leaders deal with what she believes is an impending climate emergency, or else “we will make sure that we put them against the wall and they will have to do their job to protect our futures.”
This 16 year old child has no respect for authority, elders, and most importantly God. What does “put them against the wall mean?” The article tells us: “Against the wall, in case you’re unaware, is a longstanding trope that basically implies execution.”
Here enters Gods judgment. Adults are giving an ear to a child. She wants leaders who do not agree with her gone.
What Does That Make The Wisdom of the World?
Isaiah 1:1 KJV The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. 3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
Is the world as a whole dumber than an ox? Yes. The media is making her someone to look up to. Once again we run into scripture,
2 Timothy 3: KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
