The article says.
“In Colorado Springs, a bizarre high school assignment forced students to recite sexually explicit “poetry” that also included worship of the pagan god Moloch.“
Further down it says.
“Students were also asked to review a song that talked about sexting (sending and receiving text messages containing sexual content) and offering sexual favors to a teenager.“
Leviticus 18:21 KJV And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
Society has moved from worshipping science, intellect, education, etc. to worshipping plants, trees, animals, and now man made idols. There truly is nothing new under the sun.
Jeremiah 32: 34-35 KJV 34 But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it. 35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
God Warns About Worshipping Other gods
Jeremiah 7:1-4 KJV The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, 2 Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the Lord. 3 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. 4 Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, are these.
Jeremiah warned the King of Judah, and the people God is going to bring destruction upon you. God warned to give the people opportunity to turn back to Him. But the warnings fell on deaf ears. What did the King do to Jeremiah? He put him in confinement.
Did God bring war and destruction upon the people?
Jeremiah 32:24 KJV Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.
Yes, God completely destroyed the nation of Judah. All the things God promised was coming and came.
Do You Believe The Bible Is Outdated
You might ask, why should I care. Many people believe that the bible is outdated and irrelevant. This article makes the bible very relevant.
“In Colorado Springs, a bizarre high school assignment forced students to recite sexually explicit “poetry” that also included worship of the pagan god Moloch.“
Our government, including public schools, has worked diligently to remove God. Education in America is all about rebellion against authority, sex, and atheism. Social media is censoring, confining, those who do not agree with the culture and them.
The article says the poem Howl, has “graphic references to sexual practices“. This includes the description of “heterosexual and homosexual sex.”
Repeating History
Before God destroyed the earth by flood. Genesis 6 tells us the minds of the people thought nothing but evil and violence filled the earth. Moving to Genesis 19 we find God wiping out Sodom and Gomorrah for homosexuality.
Romans 1:18-32 is the blueprint for how we arrived here. Romans 1:24,26,& 28 show the progression of walking deeper into sin. It also shows the progression of God giving them what they want. The final destination is a mind that is useless and does not have the ability to reason.
I encourage believers to pray. Pray for strength and boldness to be light in the darkest of darkness.
Time Is Short, Jesus Is Coming, Are You Ready
2 Timothy 3:1 KJV But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away
