Is Homosexuality about Freedom or is this a Sign of the Coming Messiah, Just How Close are We
What is happening is no surprise to believers who know and take God's word literally from Genesis to Revelation. Nevertheless, it is sad to watch children being exploited and deceived. But once God is removed the nation has no choice but to follow what is outlined in Romans 1:18-32. The removal of God as God leads to sexual immorality of all kinds (v21-27). God gives them over to an evil mind, that is insanity. They hate God, are full of hostility, etc. and want others to join them (v28-32).
This is happening before our very eyes and will continue to progress until the days of Noah and Lot return. Below are some articles showing these progressive steps.
Netflix is to launch a LGBT cartoon about drag queen superheroes who ‘save the world’ from ‘evil’". This statement alone is an example of turning evil into good!
Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
The following quote from the Netflix article hits it perfectly, the heart loves this world and all its ways. "The show “looks to combine everything we love in this world,” SyFy channel blogger Courtney Enlow writes. “This is truly a perfect gift to kick off Pride month.”
The articles are vast and the scope of this will continue to grow and effect everyone everywhere. It is heartbreaking to watch the lack of courage from Christians to stand against what they know is sin and the annihilation of the godly family (Matthew 10:28).
Matthew 10:28 ESV 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
It is said to be about rights but it is really a war against God. I am writing this because I couldn't see how the illogical and non scientific would be accepted as logic. Science was a god and our DNA defines our gender. No matter what is felt or thought the whole body is geared toward the gender determined in the womb. But now science and logic are gone and the days of Noah and Lot have risen again. What does that mean?
The days of Noah
Luke 17:26 NASB And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
On the surface all was normal. People were living life for them self without one thought to the warning of God's coming judgment (2 Peter 2:4-10).
Genesis 6 tell us everything was not fine and God saw things very differently.
v5) God sees the wickedness in people. The thoughts of people were nothing but rebellious wickedness against God
v11) The time came when man's corruption had spread over the earth and it was accompanied by violence.
The days of Lot
Luke 17:28 NASB It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
Jesus says the days of Lot resemble the days of Noah. The people were living as if all will be as it always has been. They were conducting business and planning for their future. But that was not all.
Genesis 19:4 NASB Before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people from every quarter; 5 and they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have relations with them.”
Their normal included sexual immorality, homosexuality.
What happened to the people
Genesis 6:11-13,17 tells us how God dealt with sin. He flooded the earth and everything that was not on the Ark died. God made a promise He would never flood the earth again instead the next time God cleanses the earth it will be by fire (2 Peter 3:3-7).
Luke 17:29 tells us God sent fire that destroyed all of the Jordan Valley and everyone died. (Genesis 19:1-29 gives details)
Why is Jesus reminding the people of God's past judgments?
Luke 17:30 NASB It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
Jesus is describing how it will be on the earth when He returns. We are witnessing the past coming to life and becoming our present. The coming judgment is the sure future. Godly holiness is evil and wicked sinfulness is good.
Isaiah 5:20 NASB Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
The world is on a collision course with God and most believe all is normal. But the Tribulation will be anything but normal.
Matthew 24:20 NASB But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.
The judgment God will send to the earth has never occurred. The book of Revelation starting in chapter 6 gives the details.
Look around, theses verses are happening. Jesus is coming, are you ready to be face to face with the Holy Creator of the universe?
