God Was There
A Bible in an SUV's front seat was the only thing left untouched by flames after the vehicle caught fire and exploded moments before the driver was rescued by a group of Good Samaritans on Sunday in Tennessee. Police say the accident happened in Memphis when the 2014 Jeep Laredo left the road, hit a pole and burst into flames on State Route 385 near Ridgeway Road and Kirby Parkway around 2.30pm, WREG reported.

Many of you may know the day a man was saved from a burning car on February 2016, but do you know what took place behind the scenes while all this was occurring? This happened because a car clipped the back of this SUV and caused it to run into a pole. After that everything went fast and quick. The emergency medical team was not there yet, and the people had to act fast! Everyone was working together that day to help this man live. You have people around the car trying to figure out how to get him out. You have people away from the car praying for him to be pulled out. The man was pinned underneath the dash, and could not be released. There are several things that took place before he was set free:
1. Robert Morrow was trying to rescue him began praying
2. The lady filming was praying
3. Robert Morrow saw the man lifted up just enough for him to be set free
4. The lady filming said “let the seat back”
At that moment the man was freed, aww but there is more to this story than listed here. Listen to Robert Morrow’s side of the story from the burning side.
Audio by Jan Markell does an interview with Robert Morrow about the day he pulled the man out of the burning car,
go to 43:03 to hear the story.
WHAT DOES THE WORD OF GOD SAY ABOUT ALL OF THIS
Prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan. ~ John Bunyan
Psalm 107:28 Then they cry to the Lord in their trouble, and he saves them. 29 He calms the storm and stills the waves. 30 What a blessing is that stillness as he brings them safely into harbor! 31 Oh, that these men would praise the Lord for his loving-kindness and for all of his wonderful deeds! 32 Let them praise him publicly before the congregation and before the leaders of the nation.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. 2 And so we need not fear even if the world blows up and the mountains crumble into the sea. 3 Let the oceans roar and foam; let the mountains tremble!
